Weddings

The coming together of a man and a woman in marriage is a sacred occasion. With this in mind, our staff is highly committed to do our best to make your special day a wondrous and celebrative event.

For our church staff, your wedding is a blessing from God, brought upon you by the very personal love and commitment you share with each other. We will do our very best to make your wedding day a memorable one -a day you will be able to think back upon over the years, and recall to each other with happiness and joy.

In our church we accept everyone who wishes to bless their wedding with God's love. Previously married couples are welcome and we do not require church membership to perform your wedding.

Our pastor, Dr. Jeffrey E. Frantz performs all weddings in our sanctuary. You can schedule a visit to the church Monday-Friday from 9:00am-4:30pm by calling (305) 822-4313. If you are only available on weekends, feel free to attend the Sunday worship service at 10:30am, or drop by right after service at 11:30am.

Typically, to have your wedding at our church, you need to:

1. Call the church office to reserve the date, arrange to make your deposit, and receive further, detailed information about church requirements.
2. Make arrangements with the marriage counselor for the three counseling sessions (prior to meeting with the Minister).
3. Two months prior to the wedding, pay the rest of the wedding balance.
4. One month prior to the wedding, make an appointment with the pastor to discuss the ceremony.
5. Obtain a marriage license (valid for 60 days) from the County Clerk.*
6. Two weeks prior to the wedding, pay the late fee deposit.
7. The day before your wedding (or within a week of the wedding) schedule the rehearsal with your wedding party.
8. Enjoy your beautiful day!

* We are not only interested in your wedding, but in your marriage as well. With this in mind, you will receive three counseling sessions with our Marriage Counselor, Jane Mann. Upon completion of these sessions, you will meet with the pastor, Rev. Jeffrey E. Frantz, who will perform your wedding ceremony.                                    

Our church offers two wedding packages:
	Package A - $850. Includes: Church Minister Organist (soloist) Wedding coordinators Custodial service	Package B - $1,200. Includes: Church Minister Organist (soloist) Wedding coordinators Custodial service Flowers for the Sanctuary

Please Note:
- A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total fee is required to hold the date.
- A late fee cash deposit is required ($100 for the wedding; $50 for the rehearsal) two weeks before the rehearsal date. Each deposit will be refunded in full provided your rehearsal and wedding begin at the scheduled time.
